Commissions
Why choose a commission?
Pets hold a unique place in our lives, providing unconditional love, companionship, and loyalty. They contribute positively to our mental and physical well-being. Commissioning a hand-drawn portrait is a meaningful way to express the significance of your pet in your life.
I utilize high-quality materials such as archival-grade pencils and fine art paper, ensuring that the artwork is not only visually stunning but also durable. The use of premium materials means that your portrait will maintain its vibrancy and detail for generations.
Creating art featuring animals is not just my profession; it’s my passion. My love for animals drives me to capture their beauty and personality on paper, making each commission feel like a privilege rather than just another job.

Choose a photograph
One of the more important things is the quality of the photograph provided, here are some helpful tips:
When photographing your pet, get down to their eye level. This approach captures their personality more effectively than shooting from above, which can distort their features and context. Natural lighting is ideal for pet photography. Aim for diffused natural light rather than harsh sunlight or indoor low light conditions. Avoid using flash as it can wash out colours and obscure details like your pet’s eyes.
Don’t be concerned if you’re uncertain about selecting your reference photo; we will go over this when you reach out to me, and I will gladly provide guidance on the best choice.

Book your slot
The final step is to reserve your slot by making payment with a £50 non refundable deposit. After the artwork is finished, I will provide you with a proof for your approval. Once you give your approval, the remaining balance must be paid via bank transfer. Your portrait will not be posted until after the final payment has been received in full.
